New Redline Monocog 29er

New Redline Monocog 29er

I just picked this bike up from Trinity on Friday and have been able to put some miles on it over the weekend.

WOW. This bike has got me excited about bikes again. So simple. So fun.

PROS: Price is very good, hill climbing is easy with stock gearing, very quick and responsive, stock tires grip good in dirt and roll good on pavement, the larger tires really help make up for the lack of suspension.

Cons: Stock brakes have trouble stopping a big man on big wheels (new Avid BB7s will fix that). No quick release on the rear wheel or seatpost (seatpost quick release is cheap).

BTW...Trinity is great to work with and will treat you right.
